My Holiday in Corfu
Sitting in the hideous pouring rain on the Eurostar & thought I might cheer myself up (and you lot, hopefully) by getting into the summer mood with a little post about CORFU, one of my favourite places in the world….
A view for two…
Here are some colourful snap shots of my trip this year. Just looking at them is making me dribble onto my laptop… TAKE ME BACK!!
The house I stayed in belongs to one of my best friends (India Langton) and her family. Its dreamlike, completely out of this world.
Ping pong table under a canopy of vines & Brightly coloured pot plants
Stairs down to the sea & The all important cocktail bar
Backgammon & Me in my new shades bought from the local town of Kassiopi
Almost tropical & Greek nibbles
Lights hanging above the dining room table. Al fresco. & Lace above my bed
Beer’o’clock & James enjoying the local taverna on Agni beach
One of the bathroom walls, made up entirely of shells
A summer inspired beach bag & India with Dolly…
Indias mother Carole Langton started up this incredible charity called CARE which looks after homeless dogs & puppies in Corfu. As a result, the house is filled with adorable, fun loving dogs who somewhere along the line have been rescued by one of the family… They always make the holiday THAT much more enjoyable and memorable… If you’re a mad cnine lover (like myself) then feel free to check out the website at http://www.carecorfu.com.
