Model Approved:The Marc Jacobs show spring 2013

“Young girls need to learn that sexiness isn’t about being naked,” declared Marc Jacobs after his eye-popping Op Art homage of a show that included, as he added, “a bit of everything that I love—lots of straight lines, T-shirts.”

THE LOOK: Glowing skin with bold brows and a mod conical hairstyle to complement the ’60s-inspired collection
MAKEUP: François Nars, NARS Cosmetics Founder & Creative Director, created the makeup look for Marc’s Spring 2013 show. “She’s a typical Marc girl…Very New York City, very chic, very interesting,” said Nars.
For the fresh-faced illuminating appearance, Nars used Sheer Glow Foundation and Radiant Creamy Concealer (Coming in Spring 2013) for the face. Eyes were a little more dramatic, with bold, filled-in brows, Mambo Eyeliner Pencil above the crease and below the lash in long full sweeps and several coats of Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara.
HAIR: Guido Palau for Redken created a side-swept bang and conical-inspired slight bouffant that looked soft and youthful.
